Welcome! I'm Lorelei Conover, a contemporary photographer and graphic designer based out of San Bernardino, California.
Glad to have you visiting this blog, which contains not only my most recent work, but my day to day adventures of real life as well. The main portfolio can be found here, and if you're looking for my exclusive photo card line, stop by here.
Thanks for checking out my work, and please do leave a comment! I'd love to hear from you! The design bug tends to get me once in a while, so don't be surprised if you come back for a visit and everything looks different ;)
Here are what I designed for the boys’ Valentine’s Day cards this year… when adding all the cards up for James’ 2nd grade class, Logan’s pre-school, and our Moms playgroup, I did about 52 cards in total.
James wanted “Club Penguin” play cards modeled after the Card-Jitsu Cards
I have to admit I did have fun with the hole punch for Logan’s cards, and of course he wanted Thomas :P

She arrived with a nervous laugh and tried to mask it with casual talks of getting lost on the way. As soon as I noticed her apprehension, I started chatting about everyday things, how were her kids, who she left her littlest one with– and the nervousness seemed to slowly fade as we talked in the way two friends talk over afternoon coffee and cake. Rebecca wanted to get out of her shell and give her husband what will no doubt be one of the best early Valentine’s Day presents he has received, and she did it with such grace, class, and style.
Rebecca, thanks so much for being such a wonderful person to spend a morning with, talking, laughing, and “shooting” the breeze :)
As cliche as it sounds, I truly do love love. Love in every sense of the word – in every example we see daily all around us – in God’s beautiful grace. And as I observed my great aunt and great uncle during the party celebrating their 50 wonderful years of marriage, I thought to myself, this is one of the great examples of what real love looks like. Throughout their years together, relishing the good and in spite of the bad, they have trudged on through life as a solid pair, partners hand in hand, husband and wife. Besides the example I strive to follow from my own parents, celebrating this strong bond years from now is important as well for me and my husband.
It was amazing seeing family I haven’t seen in a while and meeting family for the first time (many from Uncle Thomas’ side). The living room and den were filled with different conversations, laughter, reminiscing, and a few happy tears that could warm anybody’s heart. And despite us being there for Auntie Nani and Uncle Thomas, and my cousins (their daughters) Anne Rose and Mary Grace telling us the family presence was the best gift their parents could have received, I would like to express my utmost thanks for their planning and strategizing to get us all together in Virginia. It was doubly rewarding for me to be surrounded by so many great people, sharing so much love.
I had the honor of being invited into Celia and Carlos’ home to capture some maternity photos. Their sweet little boy will be arriving soon and I had a blast hanging out with them for an afternoon, which happened to be a beautiful sunny day in Downey.
Thanks Celia and Carlos! Can’t wait to meet and photograph your little guy’s first portraits when he’s here!
