Welcome! I'm Lorelei Conover, a contemporary photographer and graphic designer based out of San Bernardino, California. Glad to have you visiting this blog, which contains not only my most recent work, but my day to day adventures of real life as well. The main portfolio can be found here, and if you're looking for my exclusive photo card line, stop by here. Thanks for checking out my work, and please do leave a comment! I'd love to hear from you! The design bug tends to get me once in a while, so don't be surprised if you come back for a visit and everything looks different ;) |
Portrait Session: Abigail {part one}
So I probably shouldn’t say that I’ve known Abigail since she was a baby… and that I babysat her and even helped with diaper duty. Because not only might that embarrass her, but it might also lead to some people thinking that I myself am an old fogie. (I’m so not!)
So I won’t say that…. er, again.
Abs is one of my favorite cousins, my adopted little sister, my once in a while partner in crime. She’s got something big in the works, and I mean BIG, so get your ears ready.
Anyway, we decided to turn a nice Saturday afternoon into an nice Saturday afternoon that was perfect to snap some photos so that she could update her portfolio. Because, she’s an extremely gorgeous model, as if the sneak peek below didn’t give that one away.
So here we go, some more fun stuff from the day to share:

The PART TWO of this shoot is coming up in just a bit ;)
Pretty Dishes from Orla Kiely
I found these awesome melamine dishes last month and was so excited that I grabbed them immediately!
I’ve since discovered that Orla Kiely made these exclusively for Target, and only a limited amount, so they’re not only adorably patterned, they are also fairly rare. The best news is, because they are melamine, they will (hopefully) be able to withstand my kids’, er, roughness with their dishes, plus it’ll be cool to ask James to set the table without cringing as he’s carrying the plates from the kitchen cabinets to the dining table.
The bad of these is that melamine is not microwavable. Big bummer for those quick meals, which almost made me turn to Corelle, but I mean… how could I possibly ignore these great designs?!
