Guestbook Proof – Sarah & Joe

Here’s what I created for Sarah and Joe’s guestbook. This is definitely a nicer and better way for your guests to leave messages than the standard white book with lined paper. They will not only have more than enough room to leave actual messages of love and advice for you, but will also get to enjoy your engagement session photos while doing it!

Album (Guestbook) – Patty & Brian

This was the guestbook I designed for Patty and Brian’s wedding. For current and future client FYI, instead of the standard white, page lined guestbooks we’ve all come to see at weddings, this is a whole new way for your guests to leave their signage. And, with this kind of book, they can even leave a short little note of advice and love, all while checking out and enjoying none other than photos of the happy couple! What could be better than that, I ask you?!

I used the photos we took for their engagement session on Santa Monica Pier to create this 20 page book, check it out:

Wow I have been so incredibly busy, which sadly left my blog completely ignored! I will surely make it up, and will be posting up a storm in the next handful of days ;)

Here are three selected samples of recently designed photo cards to share with you….

Dana contacted me about making photo invitations for her daughter’s and soon-to-be son-in-law’s rehearsal dinner:

I was thrilled to receive her email saying how much she loved how they turned out:

“Thank you so much for creating the special Rehearsal Dinner invites! They turned out beautiful! You were so nice to work with – and so patient with all my changes. I can’t wait to send them out – everyone will love them. – Dana”

Erin and Grant will be married in New York this month! Congrats you two!!

Nancy and Jeremy, who’s wedding is coming up in June, had the most creative idea for their wedding invitations! They decided to make theirs completely unique and have their engagement photos incorporated into the design! The best thing about it all, is their invitation style totally matches their personalities– laid back, very down to earth; the kind of people whom you would be privileged to have as friends, seriously.

And last but not least, I created Meaghan and Anthony’s rehearsal dinner invites two years ago, and was so honored that they came back to me for their new baby’s Christening invitations! Welcome to the world, Justin! :)

Album – Misty & Luis

I always get super excited when I see packages leaning on my front door, or set on my porch bench. As silly as it may sound to some people, I absolutely love getting mail! Especially when it’s a package I’ve been anxiously waiting for, consistently trolling the tracking online, until the very day it’s scheduled to arrive.

Well for one reason or another, I wasn’t on top of the tracking for the huge package I saw standing upright, as I strolled down the walkway to my front door yesterday afternoon. I immediately thought, “ooh! wonder what that is…” and my eyes grew even bigger as I approached the box and saw the words “ZookBinders” written on it! It was Misty and Luis’ Bridal album!! The lovely people at Zookbinders took my designs, and sent them back to me in tangible form– beautifully and amazingly put together– a family heirloom that will last a lifetime.

And no matter that this isn’t the first album I’ve had made, received, and set my eyes upon after taking it out of the box… I think I will always be in awe of just how fabulous they turn out! Seriously one day, when I have the time, I will turn my own wedding album into one of these beauties!

So without further ado, here are a few photos I snapped of it…

You can have your names and wedding date imprinted onto the cover (with several color ink options):

The Zookbook comes with a handful of leather options, but this particular one is called “Napa Leather”, which also comes in a variety of colors, and is basically a soft feeling, highly textured suede, and it’s just the coolest feeling to run your fingers on it:

Check out the sweet gilding, which is the lining ends of each page. This book was made with silver gilding, to match the name imprint on the cover (black and gold are also available). Plus, look how thick each page is!

Ok so is the layout structure of the album amazing or what! Look how the pages lie flat:
